Central High School 

Hi, my name is Chanda Womack and I graduated from Classical High School in 1999. I went on to receive a B.A. in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island. I am currently finishing up my Master’s in Secondary Education. My true passion is to work with inner-city youth. Being a product of the inner-city school system myself, I have experienced firsthand its shortcomings. It is not enough to equip students with resources for high academic achievement. It is as important, if not more important, to help them build character! Martin Luther King Jr. once stated, “Intelligence plus Character – that is the goal of true education.”
