Thank you, GEAR UP!

The College Crusade of Rhode Island is deeply grateful to the U.S. Education Department’s GEAR UP program, which has provided $24.3 million since 1999 to support a broad array of programs for middle and high school Crusaders, as well as scholarships for Crusaders who go on to higher education.

GEAR UP is a federal program designed to increase the number of low-income students who are prepared to enter and succeed in postsecondary education by providing program and scholarship support.
