High School CAB Reviews College Guide
On April 28, our high school Crusade Advisory Board gathered to discuss a new college guidebook published by the Center for Student Opportunity, in Bethesda, Md. CSO staff member Joseph Tavares, project coordinator for the College Access & Opportunity Guide, was on hand to run the focus group and to record feedback from Crusaders. The comments from students are an important part of evaluating the effectiveness of the guidebook, which the CSO is undertaking with a grant from the Wal-Mart Foundation. Crusade Family Engagement Coordinator Carolyn Beltran and Parent Liaison Enma Velazquez also participated in the focus group sessions.
