A big crowd of 140 middle school Crusaders from Pawtucket, Central Falls, and Woonsocket came to New England Institute of Technology for Career Day on February 7. They learned about many interesting career fields, including fire safety engineering, brain research, nursing, software engineering, teaching, and law enforcement. They also heard an inspiring keynote presentation from Robert Corrente, U.S. Attorney for the State of Rhode Island. Mr. Corrente described the exciting career options available to lawyers in today’s world. He emphasized the importance of writing in the field of law and encouraged Crusaders to take classes that will teach them to write well.
