Crusader and Advisor Speak at Press Event
Luis Betances, a senior at Mount Pleasant High School, spoke eloquently to an audience of local educators and community leaders at a College Crusade press conference on May 7. He joined his Mount Pleasant Advisor Dwayne Clement at the podium to describe his experience as a Crusader. Reporter Linda Borg wrote a story about the event for The Providence Journal. Luis is graduating from Mount Pleasant and going on to Rhode Island College in the fall.
